Sandra Carretero
Sandra Carretero embarked on her journey in the hospitality industry at age 17, beginning at the front desk of a villa-style property named Creek Side Inn in Palo Alto, CA. Her role there provided for her university, rent, and other expenses.
Swiftly, she transitioned to a guest relations position at the prestigious Stanford Park Hotel, nestled at the base of Stanford University, where she received comprehensive training across various hotel departments, including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, and Food and beverage.
Once Sandra completed her community college, she transferred to Saint John's University in New York City. During this time, she became the Lead Guest Relations at Grandlife Hotels in Manhattan.
A couple years later, she became the Booking.com Account Manager for the most intricate portfolio on the East Coast: The Atlantic City Casinos and Hotels.
Throughout her seven-year tenure at Booking.com, she oversaw the entire state of Pennsylvania, upstate New York, and a portfolio of Manhattan hotels before becoming the primary point of contact for Atlantic City and the East Coast liaison for Las Vegas chain casinos.
Amid the challenges posed by the pandemic, this hotelier of Mexican heritage relocated to Guadalajara, Jalisco, to apply her expertise in enhancing and expanding the beautiful properties that grace her family's hometown, much as she had done for numerous properties abroad.
